It’s not in my nature to write about terrorist in the Philippines. I guess it should be if I’m offering sound and balanced advice to aspiring expats wishing to live in the Philippines.
This article caught my attention mainly because it happened in Palawan where Gracia and Martin Burnham along with several others were kidnapped several years ago.
I want folks to remember that there is a threat there and they should always be aware of their surroundings.
What I do no want is for folks to use this justify “fear mongering.” This is not my intention. The Philippines is a great place to visit and for some expats…LIVE.
Just read it, file it away in your memory bank and know that it exist. Therefore be careful.
Let’s also give thanks to the Philippine Military for putting their life on the line. This type of mission is dangerous on many levels and they deserve to be recognized for their bravery.
