Finally…a resource for building your dream home in the Philippines

If you’re planning on living in the Philippines and building your home instead of buying it. I’m sure you’re going to have tons of questions.

The most common questions I have seen over the past few years are;

Can I own land in the Philippines?

How do I go about buying land in the Philippines?

What’s the best way to plan and design my home?

Do I build with hollow block, wood or nipa?

What, if any, are the pit falls to look out for while buying land and building my home?

and more….

My friend Lloyd helped build a house for his brother-in-law in Leyte and during that time he realized there wasn’t any place in the Internet to ask questions and get crucial answers about building in the Philippines.

Lloyd ultimately found a site devoted to building houses in Thailand and with permission to model a forum after this forum Coolthaihouse.com he decided to set up a resource that deals with all aspects of Philippine construction and building practices.

If you’re new to building in the Philippines this new forum RP Builders will be as important to you as your homes foundation. You need to know the building practices in the Philippines and which ones to avoid and which ones to accept.
If building a home in the Philippines is in your future or in your dreams this site will be as valuable as any other site related to Fil Am relationships.

Whether you’ve built a home in the Philippines already or dreaming of it…RP Builders will be the Internet resource to go to.

    Mr. R,

    Thanks for the compliment but I’m just the messenger not the message…

    Sir Lloyd and his site is the message…and in my opinion a “message” long time in the making…

    I hope the Fil-am community will embrace this forum as they have the others and take advantage of his niche and knowledge..

    I know theres some folks in the Fil-Am community that can contribute as well…this is a chance for them to shine and help others in the process.
