A new direction for Fil-Am Forum Report

As of today I’m finished with the fall out at Bahay Ng Ningas.
Call it Spiritual, karma or law of attraction but we all know that what we say think and do will always come back to us in equal measure. Lately there’s been plenty of negativity in the forums to go around. I don’t want any more of it. If I can contribute positive manner I will …if not….I won’t.
So what do I do?
From this day on, barring some bizarre event, I will write in a more positive voice. Future post will be informative, helpful and pertinent to Fil Am relationships, traveling to the Philippines and living in the Philippines.Making Fil Am Forum Report a positive influence for you. Then hopefully you can pass that experience on.
Sometimes, I’m sure, what I write will still fly in the face of convention but it will only be in the best interest of you the reader. Sometimes convention does not equal common sense. If something feels negative be assured it’s written with your best interest in mind. I still have to call it like I see it.
These Internet forums can, sometimes, be as treacherous as traveling to a new country with no idea where you’re going and what you’re doing.
The people you think are your friends are not. People you weren’t sure of will be the people you can count on. Then you will meet self serving folks that care about themselves only and these people are best avoided at any cost.
I’ve learned Fil Am Forums can mirror the best of life in both the Philippines and America. Sadly it will, also, mirror the the worst.
Use the forums to learn what you need to know. Over time friends will come and just like meeting your Filipina chat mate for the first time, Reserve full judgement until you get to know them better.
I’ve met some folks by telephone from the forums and I consider them friends. All I’m saying is…sometimes things aren’t always as they appear. This applies to the forum, Philippines even your own back yard.Right?
I’ll leave you with that thought…come back often, read often and share you’re ideas and feelings often.
Ingats,
Don

Don,
I was really starting to enjoy the tabloid style reporting you were doing on the demise of BNN and the rise of WOFafterdark. what will you find compelling for your readership now?
Chris,
As you may already know…most of the readers of that “tabloid” reporting of Bahay Ng Ningas were the very people involved intimately or as observer.
As much as I appreciate the readership there’s probably not much more I can say about that matter they don’t already know.
I wrote in this article that I’ll still write stuff that flies in the face of convention. That’s just my nature. Right?
I’m sure I can find compelling information to share with my readers and I hope that’s not all that was drawing readers in here.
What I hope for in the future is…you and some of the other folks will contribute good advice for the folks who are new to Fil Am relationships and traveling to the Philippines.just like you do in your forum
A lot of folks simply won’t participate in forums and just want a place to find solid information they can count on.
That’s the positive direction I want to take this blog…somewhere between Bahay Ng Ningas and the old Asawa forum.
