Does your favorite spot make it on the Philippines “Best” List?

Grace of Filipina Soul has listed “the Best of the Philippines” of course you’ll find a some of the usual suspects listed but I’m looking forward to seeing her continue this list over time.
I personally have to add a few locations that may never make the list but are definitely locations I will always recommend to my friends.
- Forest camp in Valencia. Negros Oriental.This is a great place to spend some “quiet” time. And for the foreigner a fantastic place to “chill out.” There’s a pool there that is filled with cold, and I mean very cold spring water. You won’t regret taking that plunge.( I apologize I could not find a suitable link for Forest camp but if you know of one please contact me with it.)
- Paradise Island in Davao. A great place to spend maybe a night or two or just a day visit. a great relaxed atmosphere and beautiful scenery.
- Jack’s Ridge in Davao. Probably one of the most romantic places in the Philippines. Certainly the most romantic in Davao and Mindanao.The food is great. The entertainment is wonderful…and the view in the evening is to die for..If you’re not a romantic when you get there..you’ll certainly be when you leave.
- Lake Sebu I’m sure some folks will tell me i’m crazy as hell for suggesting South Cotabato and I just might be…But I have personally been to Lake Sebu and love it. It was a beautiful tourist area and all the fresh Tilapia you could afford to eat. I may be nuts but I enjoyed it thoroughly.
