Fil-Am Forum Special Report - 7-18-2007

The winds of change is fanning the flames in Bahay Ng Ningas as of late.
It seems the recent news and attention from ABS-CBN regarding their banner on the Filipina Wife Store, a parody website, shook up the forum to it’s knees. Bringing a lot of changes from the ownership on down.
Most important of all changes was the creation of the newest Fil-West Forum on the block Wof after dark.
The Bahay Ng Ningas Gang apparently weren’t as close as they appeared.
There was a lot of internal, external , and extremely personal, conflicts going on behind the scenes and the core BNN’rs apparently jumped ship. Creating their own version of “gloves off” ….”no holds barred” advice covering:
- Fil-Am relationships
- Living and visiting the Philippines
- Visa information for those going through the process
- And of course their own brand of Justice for those unsavory characters we all want to keep out of the Philippines.
Some Bahay Ng Ningas members might call this a mutiny others might say good riddance. I’m sure the core members will tell you they have a safe place to say what they want, how they want, and when they want without worrying about external BS and petty meddling of “Crab Mentality” proportions.
Feel free to drop in, join, and learn what you need to learn before traveling to the Philippines. Just remember this forum is not for the feint of heart.
If you want to be treated with kid gloves it won’t happen here.
If you want your information sanitized in an unrealistic “rose colored glasses” fashion. You won’t find it here.
But you will hear what you need to hear so that you can enjoy your Philippine experience to the fullest.
Stay tuned…I’m sure there’s more to come.

That is a pretty fair summation of what happened, except for the fact that members did not “jump ship”, they were banned - from the site that prided itself on never banning anyone, no matter how terrible they are.
The timing of the “implosion” as it is being called, was just a coincidence as far as the Filipinawifestore is concerned. The actual breakup started about a year ago and it was only a matter of time before it became official. We wish George and the rest of the BNN gang the best of luck, but we are a happy now in our new place.
In retrospect, the banning of the “Shadow Thugs” is probably the best thing that could have happened.
