“Freedom of speech”
I almost named this post Trolls and Flames. But it seems “trolls” and “flamers” love to scream or “invoke” their rights to “free” speech.
“Freedom of speech doesn’t allow you to scream fire in a packed theater”.
For those of you that don’t understand let me sum it up for you..Freedom of speech does not give you the right to hurt others,with your words intentionally or otherwise.
I do believe, and have participated, in flame wars when the “target” is in my mind more screwed up than a christmas turkey.
I will admit some folks simply need to be burnt to a crisp!
And some folks don’t.
The folks that deserve it are sometimes trolls and sometimes they are just true “tards”, fools if you must say.
Let’s face it there’s a lot of sick folks all over the world and the internet seems to magnify there illness,stupidity, and sometimes sick minds.
Let me give you a few examples
If you like to post sexually explicit photos of your wife on the internet and then point others to it… you’re going to get flamed!If you treat women as a “piece of meat” and brag about it in public forums…well you’re going to get flamed!
If you ask for advice and then curse the very folks that give you advice because you don’t agree with it. Well you’re going to get flamed!
If you discuss the sex life that you and your wife share…then you’re sick and deserve to be flamed!
If your a liar and a cheat and create multiple screen names to hide it…your sick and deserve to be flamed!
IF you like to cause touble then become indignant when you’re called out on it…well you deserve to be flamed.
If you ask a question in a forum about “the age of consent” and then defend your decision to sleep with very young girls then you’re definatley a sick F*** and you not only deserve to be flamed but more so should be locked up for life.
If you like to brag about how you scam banks out of thousands and use the laws to get away with it…then you’re a criminal and stupid and you deserved to be flamed.
And finally if you just like to hurt folks with your words and other behavior…well… you deserve to be flamed
These behaviors are just screwed up in the “real” world and not just “troll” behavior on the internet.
And this is not what freedom of speech is all about. And if you’re offended when someone “flames” you don’t let your sensitive side get the best of you. You brought in on yourself and after all you deserved it.

no… I don’t agree. Flaming is hatred. Hatred is bad. Flaming a bad person shows you are bad too.
You who are Christians - reread the New Testament. What would Jesus have done when he found a guy on bad ways, posting away on the Internet? I don’t think he would have replied “YOU ARE A SICK F..”. Do you?
If a person is a criminal, there is police to handle it. Report him. If he is no criminal, and an attention seeker, troll - ignore. If he states something wrong - just give correct information.
Also, what is “sick” or not, is very different depending on cultural background. To me, carrying a gun in your home is far more sick than exposing you and your spouse nude. But, of course, I am no American.

First and foremost thank you for your comments and thank you for stopping by.
No Jesus wouldn’t call someone a sick F*** but he did call the Pharisees “son’s of the devil” and “snakes”. I beleive in the internet world would have be considered flaming. But flaming the right people…right?
And when he went to the temple and saw all the debauchery going on…gambling,cheating on the scales as they sold food and other goods and in general total disregard for the temple and god’s purpose for the temple. He ordered his deciples to bring him 3 pieces of rope and preceeded to destroy all they were doing…<strong>RIGHT THERE IN THE TEMPLE!</strong>How dare he right?
Well in todays world he would have been considered a flamer and a “hater” as you put it. After all he was coming down on the folks that were, well let’s say “out of line”.
Kind of like the folks I mentioned in this post.

This disturbs me a great deal…are you considering child molestation an accepted behavior depending on the culture…because that is what I was calling criminal. Exposing your wife “nude” online would be “sick” in my mind and in some states or cultures it <strong>WOULD</strong> be criminal.
But justifying sleeping with young girls <strong>in any form </strong>is not only sick but criminal.

No. I don’t justify sex with minors. I compared weapons and adult public nudity in my example.
But if a guy from an Islamic country where marriage at age nine is legal (and he liked his country’s laws) would argue with me on a web board, my primary goal would be to try to convince him why he is wrong, rather than throwing sh-t on him. I think that would be more productive.
And we have differing views on <b>adult</b> nudity and (I believe) weapons. So maybe you should flame me someday.

<p>I won’t debate all the what if’s and how about’s you or anyone could come up with…that’s the beauty of having an opinion and sticking with it…</p>
<p>I never said flame people for the pleasure of flaming them…I chose specific examples of people I personally have flamed and will continue if that type of person appears on the forums that I frequent.</p>
<p>There are many and I do mean MANY episodes of pure hateful flaming and I won’t participate in that.</p>
<p>As for flaming you, well you know where to find me…give me a reason…LOL</p>
<p>I think I know who you are and if I am right I don’t have a reason to do so because I have respect for you. But if you want to have a little fun…then let’s have at it you know where to find me.</p>
