Why have a “New / Old” Asawa forum.

Another “forum” has sprung up in the Fil-Am forum community but there’s nothing new about it at all.
It appears someone has purchased the old ASAWA.ORG site and all the content associated with it.
For what reason I don’t know.
My only guess would be that someone out there doesn’t have the ingenuity to create there own site or drive traffic to it on it’s own merits. Instead they, like someone else in this forum community that Iwon’t mention, wishes to capitalize on the ASAWA name but certainly not the reputation.
The ASAWA forum served it’s purpose for quite some time but it dissolved into a site that I never would recommend to anyone for any reason.
Now that this “new” forum has sprung up with a poorly hidden attempt at a new name but nothing more than a clone of the “old”. I am sure some folks will go there and read, post and feel good about having “another” forum to get more information from.
But the truth is one forum has risen above even the ASAWA forum and this, in my opinion is the world or filipinas. There is nothing in the “old / new” site that you cannot ask or learn in WOF (the world of filipinas).
The reason being is many of the ASAWA members happily joined WOF when the owner of the “old” site bailed out for whatever reason. Many of the members have a great deal of experience with immigration and other pertinent matters.
Contrary to some beliefs out there the world of filipinas was successful and growing without the ASAWA forum..”Hawk”, the administrator of WOF, did not need the ASAWA for his forums success!
Other folks started forums afterASAWA closed down. In my opinion it was too late for that. because those forums wouldn’t have anything to draw the people that need FIL-AM advice, immigration advice or even support.
I am a member of two forums and they both serve a separate purpose within the Fil-Am community and honestly there really isn’t any reason for anyone to be a member of more than two. Maybe just to read and be entertained and that’s really the only reason I can imagine for more than one forum.
Anyone that wants to join this “new / old” antiquated site…go ahead but you’ll soon learn it’s a waste of your time.

any forum is not good if you don’t have a life outside of it.
