Since the apparent demise of the Fil Am forum ASAWA, the largest and to date the most successful forum of it’s kind, there have been several folks wade into the waters attempting to recreate the success of ASAWA.
Several folks have been successful in creating a good community of people to share information as well as their opinions of not just Fil-Am relationships but basically everyday life events too.
Hawk at The World of Filipina’s has done a good job of creating a great forum for people willing to help each other most of the folks in there are friendly and more than willing to help as they are going through the same thing as you are. Sometimes, in my opinion, not all advice is on target but for the most part, I would say 99% , is appropriate.
In most of these forums you’ll find information about:
- Long Distance Relationships
- Immigration Issues
- World events
- Living in the Philippines
- Retiring to the Philippines
- Language translations
- How to send Money
- Filipino Food
- Filipino Culture
- Folks Travels to the Philippines
- Online dating do’s and don’ts
- Scams and how to avoid them
Many of the forums have basically the same categories so if your reading this and you don’t see your particular “special” categories in here SORRY but I can’t and won’t please everyone.
Tito George at Bahay NG Ningas runs a forum better knows for being UN-Politically correct. Many folks don’t like it and many do…it’s really a matter of personal taste. But if you have thin skin I will warn you to Enter at your own risk! Your going to get the straight scoop from folks that have many, many years of individual experience in the Philippines as well as with Fil-Am relationships.
You may not like their delivery but your going to get the straight truth!
Let me be the first to tell you that not all of the forums are worthwhile in my opinion and even though I am a member of many of them I might not participate due to the underlying theme of the Forum. And some forums I just won’t participate in period!

ONE FINAL NOTE!
I will not be posting politically correct information on the Fil-Am Report!
Some of my post will be comments on what I have read for the day in my favorite Forums and Blogs and Commentary on some things that I don’t like.
I’m creating this Blog also to post things that I cannot say, due to rules, on the forums that I will mention from time to time.
SO…..If you are overly sensitive don’t read this blog!
