For my friends that read this Blog…I AM BACK!Back from where? You ask….Philippines!!!I spent 5 months In Mindanao, and the Island of Negros. I traveled and spent time in the Cities of Davao, Isulan, Ozamis, and Dumaguete and I will be writing about my trip and memories there.Why the Philippines?
In January of this year I decided that I needed some changes in my life…..I will tell you now that my changes were mostly of the personal nature…I will share them later on as I am comfortable talking about them. But you will probably understand as you read on.
Actually in September of 2004 I had spent 16 days in the hospital with Diabetes related problems….And as I sat in that hospital for almost 3 weeks I knew that if I were to survive the stay there I would be making some changes in my life.
One of those changes was to go to the Philippines and live for a period of time…some may say I just had an extended vacation…and as you read on make your own decision.
Was it an extended vacation or living there? I don’t really care one way or the other what you it…I call it living there.
Why the Philippines?In 1983 I had traveled to Subic Bay naval station and spent about 3 weeks there…the city right outside the gate is Olongapo City
I was enchanted with the country, the jungle, the culture. And for 22 years I have dreamed of going back
All that being said I will leave you with that thought and looking for more about my trip to the Philippines.
